This house is featured in Toronto Life's House of the Week. What I love so much about it is that the exterior tells you nothing about the interior. From the street, the home looks like a heritage piece, an old gem that is probably filled with nicks and knacks and coves and character. Meanwhile, the interior is very modern - straight lines and glass, very clean and open. That is my ideal: maintaining the originality of a house on the outside but keeping it current on the inside. Funny enough, I am also refreshed when I see this in people. I love nothing more than being surprised by someone because they look a certain way but in fact are not at all that. Like when someone looks really mean and then you find out they are super nice or when someone looks really straight, but is actually a joker. You get the point.

Here are the pics.
