Deb's loft was in the old Bell Canada office building which was built in 1971.  The building was converted to lofts - retrofitted and refurbished.  With the polished concrete floors, 11 ft ceilings and panoramic floor to ceiling windows the space felt like a dream.  So open, white and airy. Beautifully calming immediately.  What really impressed though is what Deb does with the space. Every space she decorates is gorgeous and we have another house tour of hers coming your way! Deb decorated this space several years ago and it speaks to her taste that it still holds up today. She is super handy as well.  Refurbishing, painting, reupholstering chairs and making her own headboard.  The dining room table was from the Ikea 'As Is Dept' and was pine coloured.  She painted it to match the West Elm off white sofa and topped it off with a piece of glass.  The chandelier above the dining table was brass. The crystals were removed and washed.  She spray painted the fixture black, the crystals were reattached and she topped it off with a drum shade. The entrance shelf is made of 2 old corbels from a house topped with a slab of white marble. Amazing what you can do with a little imagination and sweat.  Enjoy the tour!
